Stephen Fletcher
Managing Director
Stephen Fletcher has worked in underwriting for over 40 years,
beginning his career with Lloyd’s Syndicate 710 in 1967. He
became the Underwriter of Syndicate 711 in 1980, progressing to MD
of AGF Marine operation in London in 1993 and latterly to become
head of Marine London for Allianz Global Corporate and
Specialty. During his career Stephen has gained widespread
experience of International business from his leading Underwriter
position and extensive international travel.

Tim Hancox
Underwriter
Tim Hancox has been in the Market for over 40 years. Since
1981 he has been Stephen Fletcher’s Deputy both at Lloyd’s and AGF
Marine London, finally becoming Senior Cargo Underwriter at Allianz
in 2003. He has vast experience of front line underwriting
coupled with a extensive grasp of the technical issues so necessary
when operating in this class of business as leader.

Nigel Rice
Partner
Nigel Rice has been a Marine specialist at Lloyd’s since
1964. He has worked for various Lloyd’s brokers, and became
Chairman of Horace Holman Holdings in 1995. Nigel was the
catalyst in the creation of Vectura in 2007. For 35 years he has
had responsibility for accepting and rating risks on behalf of both
Lloyd’s and company underwriters within the niche ATA
Carnet market.

Scott Day
Marine Claims Manager
Scott Day has extensive experience in handling all types of Marine
Claims and has been doing so for over 20 years. Prior to
joining Vectura he worked for Allianz where he was responsible for
managing and handling UK Cargo and Yacht claims. As part of
this role he undertook numerous risk analysis and risk management
assessments to ensure that clients were actively managing their
risk exposure.
